Is life linear , or does it follow a more circular pattern, like the rotation of the Earth around the sun? A person is typically born and begins their existence when they emerge from the womb, yet what about the nine months spent within it? Do those months shape the individual in ways we dot’s fully understand? And what about the cycle of life itself - birth, growth, death and rebirth? No one can be certain about what lies ahead, but perhaps it is the very uncertainty that makes life so profoundly mysterious. Like the fern, life seems to follow a cycle, where each phase connects to and influences the next, inviting us to consider that endings might be just as significant as beginnings.
The photobook was developed through Time to Blossom” experimental workshop, which focuses on tracing, developing, and structuring visual narratives, through the process of creating a work in the form of a photobook run and curated by Yorgos Yatromanolakis.
